BankQuote.com is a consumer Banking Marketplace featuring dynamically updated daily market bank rates on banking, mortgage and loan products, connecting consumers (the buyers) with financial institutions (the sellers) throughout the United States.

How easy is it to compare the different bank rates? Does the site offer tables, graphs or a rate calculator? Is information for online customers easy to find?.

Unfortunately we were unable to locate functional rates calculators on site. There are various graphs and rates on Banx.com but none of them are useful enough as personalized solutions for our purposes.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded..
In terms of navigation, we found this site to be a little confusing too. It looks more like an American Express billboard, but they have tried to position themselves as an independent rates comparative site. Perhaps a ‘bank compare’ category would suffice? The text is too small and the graphics are confusing.

How detailed are the different bank comparison descriptions? Is the information on rates easy to follow or written in complex jargon? Are the various bank rate options easy to compare and are breakdowns provided? We graded on content..
There is way too much activity on site. The sheer volume of content is beyond overwhelming. When we reviewed this site, we were impressed by the effort but not the delivery of the material. It’s like a dollop of encyclopedic mumbo-jumbo in financial jargon.

Why is it different to other bank rate comparison websites? We graded on originality and innovation..
There appears to be little if any innovative thought behind this site. It’s standard, run-of-the-mill financial material with some flashy images and page adaptations. More bank comparison content would be good. Otherwise it’s certainly not an impressive offering.

Can you contact the site with queries? This grades the email support and telephone contacts available to users..

This aspect of Banx impressed us least of all. There is a tiny box in the top right hand corner of their site that is dedicated to support queries. It contains a mailing address, an e-mail address and a telephone/fax number.

The site is Network Solutions data encrypted which means client information is safeguarded. BanxQuote automatically logs domain names but personal identifying information - including e-mail addresses - is not collected unless customers provide such details.
