At JPMorgan Chase they operate their company by maintaining a Fortress Balance Sheet. They believe in strong capital ratios, and strong credit ratings. Their long-term growth is preferred over short-term profitability. This is a world-class online banking giant.

Chase provides its private bank clients with personal banking, personal lending, business banking, retirement & investing options. As a potential client you can apply for home owners assistance and the like. When we reviewed their site it was down for maintenance. Go figure.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded..
This site is simply awful when it comes to navigation. We were appalled by how poorly the flow is. As a client you move from one page to another and it’s like you are crossing into dimension X. A poor state of affairs.

Why is it different to other online banks? We graded on originality and innovation..
They are certainly very innovative in terms of how bizarre their website is setup. The homepage has a completely different look and feel to the rest of the site. It’s like moving from the Wild West to the concrete jungle. If that’s innovation they score a fat zero.

Everything in online bank accounts is available. This includes personal banking in checking, credit cards, savings, CDs, debit cards, gift cards, student center and bill pay. It goes right through to business accounts – the full gambit, to personal lending and retirement accounts.

Shocking in this department too. They really should pay more attention to the pulse of the people. Any social media links or blog posts and the like would boost them.

They are pretty jacked in this department too. If you have a problem you can contact support via email, regular mail, telephone/fax and even in person. What about live online banking support? They are a penny short of a dollar here.

How easy is it to find addresses of the nearest bank branch? Is there a map of branches? Are opening hours and other useful information given? We found out..
Click on the find ATM/branches link and you are immediately re-directed to Chase branch near you. But you had better know the full address because the system can’t think for itself. It is utterly useless.
