We took a look at the quality of the information on site and found that it was generally of a high standard. The range of info was sufficient, although we feel that more money topics could have been covered. Categorization could have been better.

We found little evidence of this on site. It appears – for the most part – to be infomercial type content and self promotion. We are not impressed by this at all.

As we moved through this site we got the impression that we were looking at a finance library catalogue page. The side-bar links are way too small and it’s definitely not user-friendly to navigate through.

How does the site look? This parameter evaluates the overall design, style, colors and feel of the site, giving extra points for innovative techniques..
The design is in need of a dramatic overhaul. First off, we could barely read the text, it was so small. And beyond that the color scheme is miserable. We don’t find brown particularly enamoring of financial content.

Why is it different to other financial news sites? We graded on originality and innovation..
They are top of the pops in this division. They have Finovate's signature mix of short, fast-paced onstage demos from handpicked companies and intimate networking time with their executives. The planned conferences offer very interesting innovations in finance are coming from these guys.

There are instances of up-to-date statistical data provided by Online Banking Report. This is more of a scheduling-type site with upcoming events and loads of financial reports as the focus of the web pages.

They have been covering online finance, payments and technology since 1994. However there is a lack of multimedia activity on site. It’s stark and uninspiring.

Surfing this site was like pulling teeth. Eventually we gave up on looking for the social options. This is an area of great disappointment to us.
