Just what services does this online credit card site offer? Can customers log-in to accounts and check balances, statements, pay bills, top-up, use pre-paid services and transfer money? If so, how easy is it to do?.
Its like a nigtmare
CapitalOne is a leading provider of credit cards for their banking clientele. They include 18 credit cards for many credit levels.  Among the many options they provide are Rewards Cards, Competitive Rates Cards and Student Cards. There are also prepaid cards and partner cards.      But these guys offer too much variety and too many terms and conditions for us to understand.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded..
Navigating through the CapitalOne credit card options is a nightmare. There are multiple cards to select from, with each of them being explained in too much detail. There are all sorts of qualifying criteria in 4 columns: Purchase, Transfer, Fee and Credit Level required. We rate them highly.

CapitalOne provides good levels of online security for their clientele. The website is fully secured with maximum encryption technology. There are anti-fraud mechanisms in place to bolster client confidence.

What rewards are offered to online customers? Is there a reward club or reward programs? If so, what do they offer deals on - flights, insurance or other products? We breakdown the deals and evaluate the rewards on offer. .
There are some rewards options available such as the ‘No Hassle MilesSM’ Rewards program. Clients can fly free without the hassles. There is also ‘No Hassle CashSM’ Rewards program. Here clients can earn cash. Simple and fast. Plus there are other reward programs in the ‘spend to earn’ and ‘redeem to shop.’ We felt somewhat limited by their offerings. A big thumbs down.

Why is it different to other credit card sites? We graded on originality and innovation..
CapitalOne provides clients with a slice of technological innovation. We don’t feel fully confident that they will take online credit card services into the future in a positive manner. Their saving grace is that they offer mobile banking. Their site does not distinguish them from other mediocre financial organizations.

CapitalOne is committed to providing its clients with financial products and services to meet their needs. They supposedly protect the personal information they retain about their clients. This includes when they apply for, or obtain a product or service from CapitalOne to be used primarily for personal, family or household purposes. We are mildly satisfied with their privacy policy.

There are many icons in the side panels to click on – however none of them are social networking options. Sadly in this realm CapitalOne has not met our high standards.

CapitalOne provides some level of customer feedback. There are several telephone/fax and email contact addresses as well as online forms to complete. Response turnaround times are slow and we are unhappy with their support.
